Magnifique cabinet en teck

A décor d'ivoire et de bois noir, avec des poignées en laiton, ce très joli meuble était estimé entre 4 000 et 5000 €; il a été adjugé 55 000 €, le 28 mars dernier chez Maîtres Couton et Veyrac à Nantes.

Il s'agit d'un cabinet en teck, travail indien du XVIIIè siècle.
Le teck (Tectona grandis) est un arbre de l'Asie tropicale qui pousse notamment en Inde.
